We served as design consultants for Burpee, a legendary brand and one of America’s oldest and largest plant and seed distributors.

As part of our work in reimagining all aspects of the brand we lead a team of designers, working alongside UX and e-commerce experts, to rethink how the company's Web site worked.

It was an extraordinarily complex undertaking — our mission was to make the browsing and ordering processes easier while developing and enhancing the community-oriented aspects of the site. The project was undertaken at an accelerated pace, there could be no glitches, and the consumer experience had to be seamless and flawless.

Connecticut Dermatology Group

Web site for a medical group, developed as part of a comprehensive rebranding initiative.

Our responsibilities included the development of an identity program and communication materials, along with the interior design of the clinics.

Polaner Selections

We developed the site so that customers can easily access the company's database, allowing for real-time inventory reporting.

We created a home page that provides an introduction to the company's approach and services. When a viewer hovers over the text it bubbles up to emphasize key phrases.

It's an approach one does not see on a typical strategic consultant's site, and it reflects the nontraditional approach and sensibility of our clients, whose marching orders to us were to convey what makes them different and better.


Open source translation initiative of the Yiddish Book Center.

This innovative site was developed as a portal for working translators, a resource that serves as the centerpiece of an ambitious international scholarly effort.

We developed the system from scratch, working closely with the translation experts at the Yiddish Book Center and our technology partners at 10 Speed Labs.

The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art

Development of a Web site for this unique institution, located in Amherst, Mass, devoted to the art and artists associated with children's literature.

The site provides a lively, engaging, and thorough survey of the museum's offerings and programs, including a robust 
e-commerce "digital bookshop" portal.

The Carle's home page features Frederick, Leo Lionni's curious little mouse, whose eyes follow the viewer's cursor as it moves around the screen.
