the concept for and wrote this short promotional video for sales
and marketing use, featuring kids spelling out the letters S-C-H-O-L-A-S-T-I-C
in an interesting way. At the time this was produced, Scholastic
Toys had no products to feature, so we developed another way
of conveying the energy and excitement of the line. As part of
the program, we developed the tag line “Toys Almost as
Smart as Kids,” which was used in stores and in advertising.
