Fairfield
County Design Firm Hired to Develop Identity and Communications Program
for Rockefeller Farm
Stone Barns Center is a new educational and recreational
facility on an 80-acre Rockefeller farm with a focus on sustainable
agriculture.
Originally, Alexander Isley Inc. was hired by architects
Machado & Silvetti
(Boston, MA) to design the Center’s overall signage package and
wayfinding system. Once this system was well underway, the firm was
then hired by the Stone Barns Restoration Committee, a subsidiary of
the Rockefeller Group, to develop the Center’s brand identity/logo,
stationery program, and all graphics and communications materials,
including banners and site maps.
