Angela started working with us on selected projects in 2008, becoming a full-time member of our team in 2010. She has experience in all aspects of visual and communication design, and has had the pleasure of working on a variety of engaging assignments at Alexander Isley Inc.
Her projects have included the development of an identity system for a catering firm using handmade potato prints, exhibit and retail design for the Amsterdam Tulip Museum, creation of advertising, truck fleet graphics, and store design for Goodwill, and the creation of an anti-bullying initiative for Girl Scouts of the USA.
Angela was awarded her BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. She has also studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Born in New York, Angela is proud to come from a hardworking Chinese family of bakers. Though her family may still be unsure about what her profession entails, her coworkers have enjoyed learning about authentic Chinese food such as cha shao baos (sweet pork buns) and dou sha yue bing (red bean hopia cakes) — or as Alex describes them to his kids, “Chinese chocolate” pastries. (That seems to work on them.)
